Field Operation and maintenance

Network Field Operation & maintenance ( O & M) Service portfolio consists of four primary activities as stated below,

  • Preventive/Routine Maintenance
  • Corrective/Remedial Maintenance
  • Emergency Maintenance
  • Third Party Disbursements Management

The Managed Service Operations will provide the Field Operation & Maintenance Services and Network Optimizing services depending on operators requirements. This include all kinds of activities required to operate and maintain (O&M) the Operators Transmission and Access networks to the expectation of the highest quality standards.The ATSL MS division will deploy a well-designed service organization to practice, engage with the necessary resources to fulfill the scope of work. Further pre-agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) will be established as program of service measurements and quality control. In order to maintain a seamless operations, it will further resort to periodical reporting mechanism for efficient management purposes.

A brief of the activities to be carried out by the ATSL MSD’s First-Line Maintenance (FLM) staff includes:

  • On-site corrective maintenance under the supervision of the NOC
  • Regularly scheduled and ad-hoc preventive maintenance activities
  • Hardware spares logistics and faulty parts replacement
  • Post-acceptance RF drive testing where applicable
  • Power and environmental system maintenance
  • Microwave system maintenance
  • Patrolling services along the fibre routes
  • Overhead and Underground Fibre network maintenance
  • Attending faults of Cable and antenna systems
  • Any other tasks related to FLM, requested by the client.
